These are extraordinary times as we all face an unprecedented situation together. Our hearts go out to those who have been impacted by COVID-19, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are with those who are sick, to whom we extend our wishes for a full recovery.

June 4, 2020:

Cloverdale Paint Stores Resume Regular Operations June 8, 2020

We are pleased to resume “in store” customer service at all Cloverdale Paint locations beginning Monday, June 8th.

While earlier operating restrictions were in place, the safety of our customers and staff have been our number one priority. Since then we have installed and are implementing safety processes that meet and exceed local governing regulations and guidelines.

As we re- open our stores for regular “in-store” service you will see the following precautions to ensure cleanliness, physical distancing and other measures to ensure safety is top of mind for both customers and our employees.

  • Managing “in-store” customer capacity limits as per government guidelines
  • Exterior “physical distancing” markers when waiting to enter the store
  • Easy access customer hand sanitizer stations in all locations
  • Installment of interior “physical distancing” floor markers
  • Installment of acrylic barriers at service counters
  • Postponement of in-store coffee & beverage service
  • Increased location sanitation procedures and frequency
  • Usage of Personal Protective Equipment by employees
  • Clear and visible signage detailing safety and precaution guidelines continue to offer contactless services providing curbside pickup or delivery whenever possible

May 15, 2020:

As we begin reopening our stores to welcome our customers back, we're ensuring the safety of our customers and staff as we move forward.

Before our doors fully open to our customers, we will be:
- Installing barriers on counters
- Creating floor markers to encourage distancing
- Limiting 5 customers in-store at a time
- Continuing to supply protective equipment for staff
- Increasing sanitation and cleaning inside branches

 
 COVID-19 reopening

May 1 2020:
Starting May 1, 2020, we have started to expand the hours of some stores in Canada to help meet the needs of our customers. This includes longer hours on weekdays and open during weekends. To view if your local branch is open, use our store locator tool.

We are also excited to announce that we will be selling hand sanitizers in our branches. Your safety of your family, friends, employees, and those around you is our priority. We will be selling 946 mL bottles starting at $15.50 to 18.9 L bottles. These products have been approved by Health Canada under the Natural Health Products Regulation. Please contact your local branch for more information and availability. While supplies last. 

We are also continuing to monitor the situation of the pandemic in Canada, working closely with suppliers and employees, to ensure the safety and timeliness of service is being met. We are proud to continue supporting frontline staff in regional hospitals and local clinics by providing personal protective equipment to those in need. 
 

 March 23, 2020: 
Effective March 23, 2020, we are limiting access to our branches for employees and authorized staff only. In order to service customers as efficiently as possible, we are accepting orders by phone, email or text to your closest branch.

To place orders by any of these methods, please contact your local branch at the numbers listed on their specific location details page.

For Professional Painters and Wholesale Customers, please contact your Sales Representative to place and receive your orders. 

Payment options within our branches include Amex, Visa, MasterCard, and e-transfer. Currently, cash and debit is unavailable 
Cloverdale Paint Branch COVID-19 Update - March 22, 2020 

March 20, 2020:
Effective March 22, 2020, ALL Cloverdale Paint branches will be open Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. There will be no open branches during Saturday and Sunday at this time until further notice. 

Before You Go To a Cloverdale Paint Location

We all have a responsibility to each other in these difficult times.  With that in mind, we ask that customers do not visit our stores, if you:

1.  have symptoms of Covid-19, including dry cough, fever, fatigue, difficulty breathing
2.  have travelled to any location or cruise ship on Government of Canada's affected areas list
3.  have travelled outside of Canada after March 12th
4.  have come into contact with someone currently in self-isolation (such as a family member)

Ordering Before You Go

In order to serve you better and safely, here are some other steps you can take to help limit risk:
1. Limit your time in branch by calling, texting, emailing your order request
2. Use our online order notification form
3. Exercise social distancing while in the store, maintaining at least 1 metre of distance between you and others

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Action Plan for Cloverdale Paint Inc.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is an evolving situation and Cloverdale Paint remains committed to providing the latest information to our customers on the various steps we're taking to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff, and to support you and your business during these extraordinary and challenging times.

We are monitoring and acting on the latest developments guided by the World Health Organization, the Government of Canada and provinces in which we operate. 

The measures we've put in place follow the Government of Canada and Provincial Health Ministry guidelines:

- Employees required to stay home and self-isolate if they're not feeling well
- Hand sanitizers available for use (and encouraged by signage) at all locations
- Employees encouraged to wear disposable gloves for their shifts
- Increased cleaning frequency in stores and facilities
- Hygiene information for all employees in our facilities and Customers in our stores
- Restrictions on sharing of food in facilities (i.e. muffins, doughnuts, pizza, etc)
- Postponement of corporate events, such as BBQs, Lunches, Presentations
- Social distancing in our facilities, and field Sales Representatives are meeting with Customers over the phone as opposed to in-person


Just some of the measures we've put in place at our Stores for the protection of Staff and Customers alike:
- Telephone, Text and Email ordering
- Curb-side pickup
- Where possible, placed key application tools and colours to inside windows to allow customers to see and communicate with Staff regarding products of interest to them
