ClovaZinc 2 - Inorganic Zinc Rich Primer

For the cathodic protection of ferrous metal surfaces against corrosion; this is similar to galvanizing. This Zinc Rich Primer can be used in a variety of applications such as offshore drilling rigs, smoke stacks, refineries, pulp mills, chemical plants, mines and other heavy industry. A two-component solvent-based inorganic zinc rich ethyl silicate primer with 85% zinc by weight in the dry film. ClovaZinc 2 is an abrasion resistant primer suitable for immersion service in gasoline, jet fuels, solvents and water. Heat resistant to 400oC (750oF), this primer, when overcoated with Hi-Heat Silicone enamel, provides an excellent heat resistant system. In areas of strong chemical exposure, specific chemical resistant topcoats must be used.
